I've got mine covered with the NRMA, firstly because I have all my insurances with them, but they do seem to cover every eventuality with it. ~$240 per year I think.

We use DGA after considerable looking.....have the 4x4 with them as well, I like their "full of road cover" for both vehicles and they take care of camping gear and other portable stuff like fridges, solar panels etc.

I think there are some other threads on here about insurance that you might want to look for.

Like BJ, we also have ours with NRMA because that is where all our insurance is.  Recently we had to make a claim and it was trouble free and a real pleasure to deal with them.

Same as bigjules...NRMA, but I do have to declare an interest...we own the local franchise so also get another discount.

We use suncorp, multi policy discount and low xs. They also insure annexes plus extra content.

We are in WA but opted for SGIO.
Better cover than RAC.

Main reason I chose them was because the Patrol is also insured with them: in the event of an incident I don't want to be caught between two insurers. (Needed to claim on the Patrol in first month, no hassle whatsoever).

RAC: Annex not insured. Canvas covered if less than 5 yrs old. No excess. No contents insurance. No accommodation fees.

SGIO: Fully comprehensive included fixed and fitted items. Contents up to 1k (you can up specc this). They do cover the annex for a little more. Excess 200 bucks. Public liability 20 million.

Your mileage may vary.
Hope you get the cover you need.
