Long range tank and bull bar were the only things i could not get through work at time so they were the most expensive.
Alll the other stuff I buy through work  so I would be suprised if I have spent over $4000.00

You can now

Just run the raffle, apparently that's all it takes  >:D

I have only just started again so there is no way I am adding it up, already in a week the costs have gone through the roof

I don't think that its fare to have to choose between lying and saying it's only been $10K, or truthful and risking the missus finding out that there is more to go.

Should I count the Roof Top Tent, if i exclude that I might slide in under $10K

What about things that I store in the garage like the MaxTrax.

I'm just glad there isn't a poll for 'how much of the above spend did you lose when you wrote your car off' poll :'(

My 11 year old Lux was stock standard when I bought it seven years ago.  I fitted an auto front diff locker myself, high diff and transmission breathers, a snorkel , a new UHF radio and a rebuilt HF and that is it.  I have had water come up over the bonnet in the High Country and last year saw it sitting on top of Mt Beadell and the Sir Frederick Range still on its original stock suspension and factory fitted rear shocks.  I have no plans to change anything else.  The mileage has just reached 140,000 ks.

Well over $30k  :o :o

The first "incarnation" was just over the 30 mark. Then a coupla years later, I chop the back off close to another 30k.

107 people have answered the poll, and it totals almost $1million spent, averaging just under 9 grand each. I think there's is around 15,000 Myswag members, times x  $9,000 average spend, equals a collective spend of over $135million (is my maths right?).

And thats just the accessories for the cars, do the same maths for the cars themselves, then add in the what we spent on our campers, + the camping accessories we have bought, and as a group, we represent a signifficant force in the market.......we should have our own political party given the support we provide to the economy.

My calculator doesnt go that high ?

Were we supposed to include cost of repairs in this?

If so, we may need another option...or two :-\

The sky is the limit on repairs. I should do a separate poll for that  ;D
