Cooktown area is copping a flogging, I will make for an interesting Cape York Trip this year if the weather keep going the way it has been so far.and yet people are still driving through/past the closed gates on the CREB track and getting stuck.

well I had another 252mm here overnight , the Daintree has had a flood warning on it for 3 days so I don't think anyone will even be getting to the gate at this end for a few days yet .lol ..

My YTD (year to date) 3135mm rain chart in my signature ..

cheers

Cheers Sol.  yeah the wet tropical coast is always hit and miss , and most events are topography related rather than a wide spread system .

It's so good too see rain to the west, both North and South of Chillagoe .

cheers
