Hi,
I suspect Banjo may have met the blokes who camped here previously.

cheers

That's not that bad. It's an eye sore, but at least it's contained to a small heap.

Hi,
they seem to think that they could burn what I suspect were steel framed camp chairs.
Must have been no room to take them home again.
cheers

SteveandViv

What were they burning, I can't make it out.

Yep it's the oxygen thieves that leave crap like that behind, that make it harder for responsible people/families to find good camp spots...........

Chill Marcus. He's not condoning the act, he's just saying the mess is not as bad as it could of been. I've camped with Myswaggers who thought it was a great idea to put manky nappies on the fire before hitting the sack. There is nothing worse than making a jaffle in the morning and finding a stinky bum grub in the coals next to ya breaky.  >:(

That is absolutely disgusting. How could someone think that is acceptable? That yarn puts me right off morning jaffles. Every time I go to make a jaffle from this moment onwards I'll always remember that. YUK!

Probably not, their car was probably full of National Park timber to burn at home.

I could tell you plenty of stories from the Cape. Members who went last year to the Cape will remember the big pile of rubbish at Dulhunty River.

Regretfully there are people out there that have no idea.

And even less than no idea - that's a negative idea - hmmmmm - how does that work when you've got less of an idea when you had no idea to start with  ;D Yep, back to the cans for me. TUNE IN SOON for more ramblings of a piss head  ;D

I saw this time and time again our whole way around tassie.

The amount of rubbish or burning fires at empty camp sites was terrible, dont get me started on the ones who dont use long drop toilets but will lean against the wall of the out house and leave their paper and nasties in the open for all to see....

We camr across sites that had the old chairs burning still like above photo but no one to be seen.
We did our bit and picked up way more than we took in.
