How do i get into 4wd action mag?

I have read that a few of you guys and gals out there in swagger land have had photo shoots done of your rigs, sand even a few have made it onto the DVD's.

How do I get my rig on there?

I am planning a trip into the Gulf, Arnhamland and the Kimberly next year August to mid September and I wouldlike to get my tourer out there, in case we go commericial andget a film deal.

Check out the 4WDActin Forum, haven't been on there for a while but they were always begging for readers photos, stories and travel reports and also offers of places on magazine photo shoots and DVD trips. All the staff are members so you should be able to get hold of someone pretty quickly.

Start posting some of your trip up with a story to go with it.
I posted my half lap of Australia up on prado point and was asked if some photos could be used but apparently i ended up on the cutting room floor.

Your rig does not have to be super modified but if you can get some good shots and a good editorial to go with it your on your way.

Sorry but i doubt you will get any sort of sponsorship deal unless they have seen previous examples of your work first

When they rang me I just told them they must be desperate for a story.

And take your dog into a national park  , you know, just to better our image.

they wont pay your travelling costs, but they do pay good money for stories that they print, when we head west we plan on submitting several stories and if they get used it will help fund the next trip

Do what my brother in law did, get a job there, it's only taken 2 years for his tug to get in there and they've never printed a picture of what he tows....
