Well I haven't had a chance to work in the shed yet, but we have currently upgraded. 21x10 with a 6m awning. Removed the old solar from the house, and an all new system on the roof.

Slowly moving stuff in and setting it up. Soon to build a mezzanine then bar area underneath. We supplied the land and the in laws build the shed so they have somewhere to store stuff and stay in the van until they start travelling since they have sold their house.

Tanks and driveway hopefully getting done once all this rain goes away.

Not particularly old as such, at 2007, but saw one of these yesterday: Toyota Century

First time I'd ever heard that they even existed!

Very fancy though.

Quote from: rags on November 01, 2025, 07:56:33 PMHairs, I am not here to argue, the Great Koala park is an important issue however this other news story is absolutely another seperate and unrelated issue.

It pertains to 23 current established specific camp ground sites in 16 locations of NSW National Parks and an idea that the Govt can earn a coin from these camp grounds and not have to maintain them. It would operate in a similar way in which they currently do so through the Crown Lands Management Act 2016.
It is a commercial business opportunity for the government.
It somewhat relates to the existing booking system and camping fees

Read the Consultation Document

The information I have seen from someone in attendance at the same meeting you were at RE the Koala legislation is a proposal to lock the land away, removing both tourism and forestry activities.

Same, not arguing.
But what I have been told from out side of that meeting from even NP employees, There are changes coming to all National Parks.

As you are aware, our 4wd Club performs maintenance works behind 'Locked gates'.
These areas have been mentioned in this 'Commercial' model.

The meeting, was only the tip of the iceberg.
There are changes coming, that we can not stop, what has happened in Victoria, eg, The Voice.
NSW will follow.
It is pure political bastardry, sorry to bring politics to the camp fire. ;(

Quote from: Hairs on November 01, 2025, 04:14:02 PMNo it isn't a different issue.
It will become a blanket policy across the state.
How do I know this?
The 4wd Association has access to government beautrates, who have stated this privately.
Sorry Rags, there is a lot more to this, and the ramifications are far reaching, some details I can not repeat here.

Quote from: rags on November 01, 2025, 04:02:24 PMHairs, this is a different issue whereby the Government is considering providing 6 year lease hold licences to operators allowing them to provide glamping accommodation in key locations such as the Blue Mts, Kuringah, Royal and Kosciusko national parks at the exclusion of "normal" campers.

Quote from: Hairs on November 01, 2025, 07:26:44 AMThis is part of the Minns government's "Great Koala Park"
I haven't had a chance to look at all the detail, there others that are, 4wd Association of NSW & ACT, The Timber industry have their legal eagles scrutinising legislation behind this.
Local National Party Members, Mayors, RFS have concerns that are being ignored.
4wd industry suppliers are on board, giving their support to those opposed to this.
Tourism groups that will be locked out, the list is long.
This "Park" is proposed to reach north to the Qld border.
