I understand the point being made and there's no doubt they're tainted by the actions of their beliefs.
Having said that, some 50+ years ago our grandparents were faced with a similar situation and many of them would have then been on one side of the fence or the other.
Post war saw the greatest influx of european immigrants into Australia and many then Aussies felt the same way.
Refering back to my opening point and I'm sure it might raise some very polarised views, but there wouldn't be many people not agree that today we are a better smarter richer country as a result of the european multiculturalism.
It's a strong culture and I don't believe any minority will ever rule, but we should be accepting of everyone, including process and packaging labels if needed.
