Hey Swaggers!

I finally made it back online!

Things have been pretty hectic for us (a bit more than usual) in the last 6-12 months. On top of our "we're both shift workers and have a tween and a teenager" workload, I have had some health (cardiac) issues (yep...at the ripe old age of 44). My most recent episode was last November.  While I was still in hospital, we put a deposit down on a new-to-us 2020 Jayco Journey Outback 17ft 17.58-3 Pop-Top that we knew the history of. We were feeling a bit "tomorrow isn't promised" and, despite it not being the best timing for us financially, we bought it anyway.  Despite loving our new home (that we moved into in December 2023), we had been starting to feel like caged birds after selling the Chev and the All-Terrain mid 2023 (we had to so that we could buy our dream home) and just wanted to get back out and get amongst it...make some more memories with the kiddos in case they decide it's not cool hang with the parentals anymore.

While we were in the "wait and see" phase with my heart, we did little weekenders not too far from home (or a decent hospital) as three of my four episodes have required medical intervention. I haven't had any issues since November so we bit the bullet and recently (during the last school holidays) did a an 8-night jaunt through Central West Queensland. It felt SO GOOD to be back out and amongst it again. It was good for the soul I tell ya! I'll do a trip report soon - Brett is putting together some little vids too!  We're keen to start organising some "meets" again so that we can catch up with some Swaggers in the flesh!  Also, a reminder that if ever you need a place to drive in the tent pegs when you're in the Rockhampton area, looks us up as we have plenty of room now!

Thank you to those who continue to keep the Forum ticking along by welcoming newcomers and answering questions etc. You are all the threads that make up the fabric that is Myswag.  A special thanks to @GGV8Cruza for all that he does and continues to do for Myswag and a "thanks again" to @Bigsteve and @whitedg for all that they did in the server move. Poor Bigsteve, he really had his work cut out for him as Brett and I are USELESS when it comes to IT stuff.

Anyways, gotta trot and organise a feed for the Tin Lids.

Take Care Swaggers X

Life gets busy at times.
Followed your FB journey, Thank you.

We move forward,
The world has changed significantly in the last year or so.
We've(our 4wd club), closed our web site.
For a few reasons, the constant malware/virus/ AI attacks.
The time that was required to update it, manage it.
It wasn't brunf new members to our club, that money in server costs can be better used giving back to members.
Thank you to all of you that have kept MySwag alive.

You don't use magic to disappear, ya use a 4x4 & Swag.

You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)
