I tend to agree with this form of licensing , not a lot different to trucks.

Same government is also putting in to legislation that overseas trucking licences will have no validity in SA and new licence testing will need to be conducted.

Its a $50 online course, plus $10 admin fee, plus $60 for the actual licence once you pass the online course.

thats a waste of effort... I'd be in favor of a proper course where they have to PROVE they deserve it.

this is very valid after speaking with few mates who are still going up the highway, and seeing them trying to just ... just drive straight let alone reversing into a building.. Should be a rule nationally.

I'm glad that I retired from the forked up industry. The level of stupidity and inability to drive a single let alone B-doubles, AB-triples and Road Train is out of control with the T-towel lovers.
