The missus and I take along a box of games when we go camping so if it's raining or we're looking for something to do while having a few drinks at night we usually have a game of something.

Our favourites games we play would be Yahtze, Uno, Euchre and Gin Rummy, these games are good because we don't have all that much spare room so we take small things like decks of cards, dice & score pad etc.

Anyway just wondering what games other campers get into, we are looking for other games that don't take up too much room to add to our games box or suggestions of other card games to play.

We also have just purchased a laptop so I guess any suggestions for games that we can both play at the same time on the laptop would be good too.

We usually have a boche set packed as well as a badmington set tucked away in the camper, these normally fill in the afternoon if there is no swimming available.  And once night falls, the kids do a bit of spotlighting or hang out of a tree or two or if all else fails to keep them amused, are allowed to use their electronic games DS's etc.(only allowed during the night, not during the day), while the adults sit around the fire and talk future and past camping destinations.

Karen, there's always a bottle around to spin.....

We cart that all over the countryside also.  It's spelt Jenga.  Keeps the kids amused just building with the blocks, it's a mongrel to pack away though.

Does not work well on dodgy camp tables though!!  ;D
We take whatever we can think of at the time - even full size board games. Never had a problem with storage really. I think that'll change as the kids get older.

I picked up (or was given) a pub trivia book that is a bit of fun with a few beers

We also have cards in the car and uno is always fun for everyone!  I also found a Monopoly card game at Kmart, only had one game so far but it seemed pretty easy and it doesn't take as long to win!!

We got a game for christmas called sequence.  It uses cards and its fun, easy to play and does not take all night.

I am not a big game player however, but the Trish and Sabrina play all sorts of card games and marjon (spelling).... I am usually a little tired by the time the games come out...  :D
