Yep, I'm in the right place.
I'm just a bloke who has a most eclectic tastes with music.
I really enjoy finding new music, so I (nearly 50) listen to jjj, also try to have Unearthed radio on (which is a part of jjj) where they play music from new unsigned Aussie artists. This is how some recent Aussie music stars who get played on many radio stations were found.

Just had some Urthboy on, yep, some Aussie Hip Hop, or Skip Hop as it is known, he is a modern day Paul Kelly, just uses a different form.

I agree with the above comment about Hot August Night, greatest intro ever, then a great gig.

All good

i dont mind jjj except when they play that heavy grunge screaming $hit & i always associate dance & techno with strip joints (well thats what my young fella told me  >:D)
All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

Love my metal & progressive, but also enjoying the following music recently - great late night chill out music

Casualties of Cool - One of Devin Townsend's non-metal projects - kind of dark, alternative, ambient, country..if that makes sense.
Che Aimee Dorval brings vocals smoother than a fine whiskey.

Funny how parts of a song stick in your mind, Have been trying to find this song for years and years, I only ever heard it the once at our  5th grade school dance .. been trying to find it ever since, till last night .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X_gNeIFVNw
And this bloody tune aswell, used to be on the TV to advertise our regions tourist spots  and the film clip always started with an ANSETT Aircraft lifting off at the airport    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBgKBJVm1p0

One of my dads favourite singers/albums. Remember laying on the lounge floor reading, with this playing in the background. Spent a lot of time doing this with him, we didn't get a telly till I was 12.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.
