So I suppose you want to swap the drone for a Robinson now, Mark ???

"No, dear, really, it's only so I can get better photo's" :D

Ha ha, no happy to stay with the drone. The high humidity, thick air density, up here makes it hard for the helicopters to take off so they can only have the pilot and 2 passengers.  It took the pilot about 50 feet to get the height to clear the trees.

A nice Boxing day Barra catch. A 91cm and 62cm and lost a monster one that snapped the 80lb trace.

Relaxing with a few beers. I gave the barra to a very good freind in the community, Regina Wilson, she gave Penny and I some weaving she done for a xmas gift. She is a talented lady, whose paintings, are recognised in the USA. She is the matriarch of the community as her husband started Peppimenarti.

The rsm of the council in Peppimenarti decided to take a 12 ton truck on the main rd on Sunday. Did not take long to get bogged the idiot. The load limit is 4.7 ton currently.

Finally got it out yesterday but severly damaged the road.

Good thing the container wasn't to top heavy, I am guessing the truck might have had a little lay down if it was.

Well after 22 months we sadly say goodbye to the Peppimenarti Community. Our job managing their community store has been at times challenging but mostly, fun. We will miss the friends we have made in the community but you never know one day we could be back.

We head to Darwin shortly for a week then head off on a 3 month Kimberley Adventure for a break before coming back to Darwin to see where our next remote job takes us.

Exciting times ahead.

Who knows where we will end up

Well it did not take long. New remote job looking good. Start after our Kimberely Trip.

A hint, plenty of fishing and crabbing and it's the second largest island after Tasmania.

Yes, Milikapiti or Snake Bay as they call it.
