Who's heading to the Flemington C&C Supershow?

Has anybody been? Any views regarding the new venue over Caulfield?

Went today not impressed take it back to caufield
Won't go back until it returns to caufield
Too big now, parking crap, getting their crap.

Prior to the show I sent an email to their website expressing my disappointment at shifting the venue ... for a number of reasons (some of them self serving to say the least as we live East of Melb) .....and also the price of parking..... I informed them that for the first time in 10 years we would not be attending as being self funded retirees paying $55.00 before we got in the gate was just ridiculous and that we could get similar prices from exhibitors during their sales or on the net.....
Got a reply back saying that they wanted to make the show bigger and better.... and the cost of parking was set by the Racecourse.  We didn't go and will do the Bendigo camping show or others as they come up.   The big one in Melbourne has lost us for sure.

Looking at the feedback here I am glad I did not go...

Actually used our camper instead of looking at them...

I wasn't impressed at all with this show. Too big, too spread out, not enough camping or 4wd gear. Too many caravans About the only thing that was good was the Kimberley stand
I think Leisurefest at Sandown is a much better show, plus the parking is free!

We went to the show looking to buy a new fridge, both places that were selling them had a "show special" price that was $100.00 more than my local BCF, I don't think we'll make the trip to visit again.

Most people would have seen "SHOW SPECIAL" shot their load and bought up like suckers.. at least you'd done ya homework...

Why don't you send a complaint to "Jayco" about this guys behaviour, sounds like he was working for commission, pretty poor attitude 

I guess that is what happens when people are paid on commission.
Given their wait time for new orders to be built I'd have thought they could afford to pay salespeople wages.
And given the long wait, why pressure people to buy on the day?

Too big.  Too many options.  No way you could realistically see them all in a day

and if everyone wasn't there, people would say its too small and XYZ wasn't there.

they are trying to cater for 209384023984023984023984 different requirements on the day...

but everyone knew the parking would be robbery... I dunno why people go to these things...
