Logging in from the Desert Sands Motel in Boulia, it's a little green oasis amongst a lot of dry grasslands. Doing a month long lap of Qld, started at home on Sunshine Coast last week, and stayed at Chinchilla, Charleville, Windorah, Longreach and Boulia tonight. There is a lot of nothing out here - just perfect.

Following on from earlier post, last night was Mt Isa and tonight we are in Karumba. Should have booked a fishing charter as not a lot to do if you don't fish. Tried a few operators but all booked.
Starting to warm up in the next few days apparently.

Left Karumba this morning and tonight in Croydon, yep it's starting to warm up. Was 36 today and I think heading for 39 tomorrow when we get to Cobbold Gorge.

Cobbold Gorge definitely a must see, did the gorge tour and then helicopter flight over it for a different perspective. Last night was at Undara resort, did the lava tube tour this morning and it was great. Tonight staying a Chillagoe, booked in for a few nights.
