I agree with staying away from quads. They don't produce the advanced skills of a 2 wheel bike and when they turn over they go over with a big thud. Check out these kids, all would be 10 or under and some of them would have better skills than most adults:

I was with my bike at a moto trial club ride in Canungra recently when a mum and dad turned up with their 3 kids, 2 boys 1 girl, between 6 and 12 and each had an Oset. They spent hours riding these things around the paddock, up the hills, through the creeks. I reckon these things are one of the best to introduce kids to riding. Best part is, you are legally allowed to use them at the local park

Be careful on the multistrad. They are ugly as julia gillard but go like a stripper on chrystal meth.

They also have a habit of making test riders 20k poorer....

I have been told and seen how hard they go I dont have a spare 20k + in my back pocket to fork out for one i am looking forward to this day out will top up my super fund before I go ....  but i quite like the looks of them - already got a name for it "David" as they remind me of a grasshopper

survived the poker run on the multi strada - and i have decided not for me. They love the tassie roads handle really well but #### they go, what a weapon. i can see myself ending up a little bit hurted on one of these, under estimated by the pretty boy metro sexuals on their jappers put them in their spot very quickly

Prices are on the website. The larger bikes for 10-14 y/o kids are about $1700-$1900 the smaller ones for 3-10 y/o kids are $1200-$1600.


I've dealt with The Hell Team plenty of times for my full size comp bike and they're extremely good to deal with. I believe they're in Sydney.

There's people putting their 2-3 y/o kids on these bikes. Check out this 3.5 y/o with his dad. The things are so quiet you can take them down the local park. Yes, they're not a trail bike or motorcross bike - they're not supposed to be, they're a trials bike. Kids who learn on these bikes to ride trials style can then ride anything down the track. Why do you think Steffan Merriman was the World Enduro Champion 4 times and Aussie Trials champion several times in the 90's? He started as a kid riding these trials bikes. A long time ago when i was 10-14 years old i attended a few 'trials training' camps run by Steffan and apart from being a super nice guy he's a bloody good rider on any bike.
