Yeah, happy with the call we made regarding the weather.

I wonder how Booga got on going to Moreton yesterday after making this statement......

I am on the noosa northshore working today and its windy enough to blow your dog off the chain. North side of Moreton might be okish.

Sooo Jeepers more rain more grass more reddy neddies, might be a new employment opportunity for me to look at ...
Only thing is I hate mowing my own bloody lawn, but then a gain I'm not getting paid to do it either ..

Good choice jeepers. We left teewah on sunday after 5 days in a house there. Weather was that bad we'd have packed and left on sat had we have been camping for this trip. That SE wind was hammering the rain down!

I'm pretty happy with the call mate. we got 68 mm over sat and sun and then it blew its guts out over sun Mon and even today, still a reasonable on shore wind.

We did however, sought of make it to Fraser today, we backed the boat out of the marina and went for a blurt. We stopped at Elbow Point, but still a tad windy, as the southeaster goes straight up the strait.

We ended up going up to Stewart Island, hung a right at the top, came back through Garry's Anchorage and back to the marina.

One of the guys who works there joined us a for chicken Caesar salad and a cold drink on the back of the boat. (about 2.5 hours too)

Might go out again tomorrow if its OK, as the wind will swing to the east/northeast, so much better.

The ol southeaster with an outgoing tide, tends to slop up a bit after a dose of wind.

Might even take the camera tomorrow.....

Hahaha just got home mate, will fill you in soon as I can be bothered sitting down at the computer for more than 5 mins just so buggered been a hell of a weekend

got off the island yesterday, weather was great, when we were on our way to the lighthouse some character got bogged at ngkala, so after 20 minutes of waiting we turned around. Some people need to let there tyres down alot more than they do, when your in a hurry and there is someone bogged, blocking the track it is farking annoying.

OK, thats work done for the week for me.

Time to get the CT out for a quick once over, fill some water tanks, stow away some food and lots of beer.

At 6am tomorrow, we're outta here and off to Fraser... at last.

Yeah, i know, lots of pics..... sheesh, i've even gone and got a wide angle lenns so i can fit the wife into some shots. i hope.
