As we all enjoy pulling up for a cold beer while on the road It would be interesting to hear where other members have stopped and enjoyed a nice cold beer around Australia.

For me so far it has been the Lions Den, the Purple Pub at Normanton, the pub at Einsleigh, Sunset Tavern at Karumba plus some pubs in Cooktown.

Sedgers Reef Hotel in Iluka on the Clarence River, its a classic.

The Pub With No Beer in Taylors Arm, south of Coffs. It has replenished the beer supply and has a good scenic drive on the way there.

Widgiemooltha pub, (spelling?)   Between Kalgoorlie and esperance,

Don't know if its still open.?
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Not Iconic, but probably unique, the pub at Booni near the NSW QLD border between Goondiwindi and Mungindi. The bar is on a slope, and that's before you have had a drink.
