............... god save the Queen, and when she's gone god save king Charles III -it would cost way too much to become a republic and even if she wasn't our head of state do you really think she would pay her own way to visit?......she doesn't when she or any of her family go to the US

if the French had got here first we wouldn't have to worry about tree huggers keeping us away from the bush, it would all be too radioactive to visit in the first place. and they had such a "great" record of looking after native populations compared to the UK...........oh and it would of been a lot easier for them to go into New Zealand and blow up ships - not that they needed any help doing that - lovely language maybe, but planetary terrorists that are great at starting wars and even better at losing them

They have been saying that at her age this travel schedule would be grueling. A private jet, waited on hand on foot, private doctor, all expenses paid for.

Just to make her trip at little bit interesting, book her on Qantas and shove her in economy, give her a temp Medicare No and a couple of Mac's vouchers....we all have to make sacrifices due to the economy.

I think the Queen is rather under appreciated. She's been the Queen since her dad died when she was 21 and she's now 85 and still hasn't retired. She's been the Queen through many Presidents and PM's (it's average of 1 every 4 years yes?). She's bought up kids that didn't end up in jail. Bloody good effort I say. And she's a Woman! An inspiration to woman everywhere I reckon.

She's here to open CHOGM, so I don't see why she should pay for herself. It's not a holiday ... it's work. If my work sends me somewhere they pay for it - accomodation, travel fees, food ... I have to pay for my own drinks. She doesn't come here often enough to send us broke anyway. Our Pollies are doing their best to do this on their own with no help from anyone.

OMG ... I've turned into a Monachist ... I thought I didn't give a rats, but seems I do.
