We Have a GQ TD42 thats turboed.
400+ klms and counting. :D
Just do the usual, Turbo/cooler,H/D radiator ,pyro guages etc.
Get it tuned and enjoy.
I have a mate with a non turbo one and you use a good percentage of the throttle
to get going. I use half of that and get to the same speed a lot quicker easier.
Did think of selling to up grade a few mths ago but did not want to start again.

Cheers Ian.

I suggest you do the exhaust as well as the turbo and intercooler.
I would go 3" from the dump pipe back.
High flow muffler as well...

Can't beat the new car smell ...
you can buy tins of "new car smell" for $12.00
$50,000 cheaper than a new car.

Quote from: offroadfreqI just picked up an intercooler on ebay for $1 ;D ;D ;D, no hoses or leaks, so guess I am now definately keeping the mighty Patrol  :cup:
Now who has a spare turbo - I'll pay twice what I paid for the intercooler, CASH!!!
Thanks very much for all your feedback guys n' gals..... I will keep you posted
Nice... Now to get the scoop and rubber seal..> the scoop is only ~100 but the rubber seal is or was $170ish! Then cuttin the hole in bonnet, we did Tims in my driveway - measure 20398203948203984 times cut once.
