Went today - looking for a CT. Looked out for Trackabout, but they aren't there? That would be a bit disappointing... Going again next Wednesday without the kids

the main reson that not all the companys are not there is it coast way to much to have a stand there

you have to sell alot of trailers be fore you break even . most of the time you do not buy the trailer there you go home think about all the trailers then you go back to the factory and then buy it . so if you advertise it elsewhere where you get the same result after all coast taken out .
so small shows are better for the bottom line

Yep, That's why Kaysie and me have this understanding, she can go shopping and stuff, I can go looking, if she does'nt want to come with me, fine, I will go and do the looking and dribling for the both of us...my creit card will not stretch that far, so she knows all I can afford is the enterance fee and a coffee, let alone a new hard floor with all the gear that I want.

Nope, my mrs will be up at sparra fart getting organised to get down there for gates open. The last 2 years are the only 2 we have missed in over a decade. No kids, just a backpack and a list and hope that we see something new and usefull

If you're going to be there for opening then aim to arrive a tad earlier than the advertised time. For the past 4 years we have arrived half an hour early to beat the crowds to find that they open the gates approx 30 minutes early.

We have been informed by one particular manufacturer that the Sydney show is the biggest on their calendar and is where they make their highest sales numbers of the year. Well worth their while.

From a marketing perspective, I'd say this show is a 'must do' for any company (not just camper manufacturers) that is serious about selling into the Sydney market..

If there is a big queue on James Ruse drive (which there was this morning), try using the southern entrance via Parramatta Rd and Wentworth St(?). Well signposted. No traffic, straight in the south gate, no queue.

I'm from Sydney but will be going to the Maitland show. Went to the Sydney show today looking at my first CT & managed to shorten the shortlist quite a bit. Just need to check out 2 manufacturers that will be at the Maitland show & aren't at the sydney show
