I am wondering how many spares to take.  The Patrol & Tvan take the same wheels so I have 2 spares.  Should I take a 3rd wheel, a spare tyre only, both neither.  265/75/16 so reasonably common.

I am feeling the onset of paranoia after the last few things that have happened to the Patrol so some advice would be appreciated.

Hi Alan,

If you have L/T construction tyres on the car and camper, and they're all in very good condition (not old, lots of tread depth), your 2 spares should be plenty.

I'll be carrying 2 spares, between the car and camper.

A spare for car and camper is fine. We will lower tyre pressure when we hit the dirt and sit on an appropriate speed.

Make sure you have a tyre plug kit. If you do not know how to use one I will happily assist for a beer or 5

Thanks guys

The car tyres are brand new and all have plenty of tread and are LT.  I have a tyre plug kit and may have to supply some beer
