While we're still a bit landlocked here in Mexico (although a few have finally ventured out this weekend), here's a thread to share some of your best (and funniest) myswagg'r meeting experiences.

For me there hasn't been a bad one yet, and the first one at The Pines - Lake Eildon certainly set the scene from an intro to Vic members including the illusive D4D (yes we have camped with him), to meeting Trevor, Firefox and family as they journeyed around Aus.

Had several catch up's at Knockwood where we again met some fantastic people and had the infamous speewa show us how to keep ladies bottoms warm

I've found new friends that are bigger campfire bugs than me to Maldon last year where Linda showed us how waterproof her iPhone wasn't. Too many other great times to mention in just this first post and looking forward to many more

Only been to one Myswag camp at Woodleigh Station in FNQ for Christmas and it was fantastic. Perfect location by the river, met plenty of top swaggers (Duggie, JCLures, ChrisJ, McGirr, Alesco, RobM, The Caseys and Paul and Bern to name a few), pot luck communal dinner from heaven and plenty of good laughs. The family loved it and we are itching to get back to another one but it's very hard to get the time off work.

Knockwood, sounds like a John Wayne Western.

Well didn't your mum ever warn you to beware of meeting strangers on the internet? Best option is to be more strange than anyone else

Where does one start?? We've been to a few meet-ups, and also on some trips, and I can truthfully say there's no such thing as a dud. Nominating a "best" really would be very hard as they've each had their own special moments, and all have been an absolute pleasure.

Very similar to everybody. Been to quite a few My Swag trips whilst up in Northern NSW and SE Qld. The special ones were the first at The Springs many years ago, Fraser Island that Yogi and Boo Boo organised. This was a stand out.  Today, we got back from a NSW Swaggers meet at Glenworth Valley on the NSW central coast, meeting some new friends who are like minded and just want to go camping.  ;) Now to plan the next meet!!
