At a crossroad for car replacement

Eventual resale is something that has to be factored in. I imagine the used market for Iveco's is very very small, especially compared to the 100 series market.

it is very very small, they are bloody hard to get second hand
looking for one for a friend at the moment and the only one we can find is on ebay

We've started trying the Iveco's at work. Our depot gets one next year, but we got a good look over the demo when it came through. It looks a good bit of gear, although those big muddies it had on alone looked like they were worth more than my Triton

Can be had for closer to 330. and one is still a Hankook!

I still say they are 2 opposite ends of the scale

1 will be more worn

how does your missus go driving the Iveco with a 2ton body on it?

Depending on the sort of travelling too.

$15,000 buys a lot of accessories, and you can take most bits off your current 100 and put on a newer one saving that $15,000 for holidays.

Keep your current cruiser and buy a wrecked turbo diesel 100 series and do a motor swap. I'm currently gathering parts to do the same to my petrol 80 series because I can't bear to get rid of it. Going to look at a 79 series ute this morning at on of the auction houses. Cheers, Mike.

says you're not alone in that thinking......I don't think resale has ever been something i've given much / any consideration to when i've bought a vehicle....i buy what i want because i want it, not because of what it might be worth whenever down the track.

Yep same here. You buy something that suits you and your purpose at the time not something that will suit a Joe blog or a coke bottle 10 years down the track.
