Some members on this forum will always try and convince other members that they should buy Australian made CT's as they are better made and never have any problems.  They will do it even when you have specifically asked them not to like you posted earlier in this thread.

Not me !!!!!!!   I only suggested a NEW aussie made camper..  ;D

I've had both import and local made.

I purchased a XXX (not an MDC) off road camper flogged by a magazine.

The tent was imported, but the trailer was made here, the trailer was the biggest POS I have ever seen. The tent was great.

I purchased a Lifestyle (I can't recall the model) when they had a batch imported to keep up with demand. It was a really good camper. It was built to their spec and had to meet their standards. It wasn't a generic import sold through different companies. I know own a Lifestyle Elite. Only because this is the only tent model they make now. I wanted their pov pack Southern Cross model. But they have stopped making them now.

We all drive 4wd's imported, our iPhones are imported.

I wouldn't piss on any Australian made car (I would like a 327 chev HK Manaro though), just because it's made here, doesn't mean quality. Look at new Jayco campers with their roofs collapsing at the moment. Aren't they made in Dandenong? A day doesn't go past without some poor dude on FB posting his/her new 2015 Jayco Hawk/Eagle/Swan/what ever with its roof on the piss.

If the camper meets your expectations, then go for it. Who gives a flying hoot where it's made.

Not everybody has $30k plus to spend on a tent sitting on a 7x5 box trailer.

Onion, we recently bought a Modcon Quattro from Nic (evolution) at Regional Campers. If you are interested in that style of ct call around and you can check it out mate. I'm in Lake Macquarie not too far from glouster if you are at your inlaws. Shoot me a pm.
