My son and I stayed in a small park on the northern side.   It was clean with good facilities and a pool.   We rang ahead because we were expecting to get in late.
We arrived after 1.00am.   I tried to set up my dome tent as quietly as possible so as not to disturb the other campers.   Tiny tap tap taps on the pegs.   My son wanted to sleep in the car.   It was around 2.00am and I had just nodded off.   My son laid back the seats and locked the doors.   Neither of us realised that the Touareg's factory security system had motion detectors in the cabin.   He triggered the alarm but couldn't figure out WTF was happening and couldn't find the keys to shut off the alarm.   I don't think I'll be welcome back there next time.
