Have heard of it, but what is the purpose of Instagram ?? Why not just use Facebook ??

Just another way of people sharing photos, lots less ads and stuff on Instagram

I have some close rellies who we are also good travel friends with but it does get up my nose that, everywhere we go, every 2nd thing we do has to be posted for public viewing within 30 secs of it happening by the wife or daughters of the couple. The hubby has a "Genuine Dislike" of the habit, if you get my drift ;D That may be him in the post above!
