Hi,
Turning back to the endless wisdom of MySwag yet again. We are almost a year into our trip round Australia and we are just arriving in Broome and hoping to find some local recommendations.

We have a few things we need to get sorted on our camper trailer.

The first is that there is a terrible squeak coming from one of our camper trailer wheels. We checked the bearings and cleaned out the hub and it continues. Does anyone have a mechanic they recommend in Broome?

We're also having an issue with our stove on our trailer. The burners have become very inconsistent. Shutting off or not lighting. We have checked everything we can think of. Gas bottles are full, etc. so I think we also need to find someone (plumber?) to look at this in Broome.

Thanks in advance in anyone has any suggestions!

I can look at your stove in about 2- 21/2 weeks I'll have to pack and leave tomorrow,I WISH.
Try compressed air through the stove that will blow any oxidisation and crap out,put a compressed air blower int the gas inlet of the stove, also check the jets

It pays to shop around & be a bit wary with what you get charged as, as my mate found out, a few people there have different fees for locals & tourists.
Hope all works out.

Gas reg might be U.S.
Can buy off the shelf and easy to DIY.
Cheap fix and if it not the problem it wont have cost much.
All you need is gas thread tape or a loctite thread sealant.
Piece of cake for anyone with half a brain.
There's a big difference between kneeling down
......... and bending over.
