Bribie day with the girls

Got home from swimming lessons and said bugger lets do something, the eldest boy had disappeared to his mates place so grabbed the 2 girls and said let's go to Bribie fishing, and we'll have pies once Beach with the new 12 v oven.   

Through everything together and off we went, got to ningi to get the beach permit, and start the pies for lunch and I had left the often at home.      Stopped. At a servo and got pies for lunch to keep the girls happy.

Went to poverty creek and pumped some yabbies. The 6 & 11 year old girls had to pump sine otherwise they can't use them ( my rules )even if they don't get any they have to take a turn on the pump.  They both caught some small whiting  and had a blast.  The 6 year old had enough and went back to pump more yabbies...  We then went over to the ocean for a look and a play.   Great day had by the girls ( even got brownie pts from Swmbo) as she had 5 hours by herself.

Thanks everyone we caught the girls did I didn't land a scale, 6 small whiting only 2 were legal.... Eldest daughter had whiting sandwich for lunch.,,,

Thanks for the update, do you know if the lagoons on main beach are still flowing??

I went through the northern. Access and went north on the beach didn't get back to the lagoons, but from a discussion with the guy at the bait shop believe 2nd still is or is very close as he said to watch it around there ( nothing definite though ).
