Environment Minister Rob Stokes said Labor had sold the gorge as part of a 700-hectare lease for just $2084 to coal interests now owned by China's Yancoal. 

"the Baird government, if re-elected, will offer a $15 discount on multi-park and all-park passes if they are bought when people renew their motor vehicle registration" 

Labor, though, said it had increased the national parks system by about 3.07 million hectares during its 16 years in office.

this is one nice place well worth a look (before it gets undermine undermine) some camping but not what you'd call a camp ground, more and overnight stop over. There are a few other interesting things around the area like hands on the rock, aboriginal rock painting.
