G'day,

just spend 3 months on the road (first big trip) and I added spacecases to the kitchen box to get more storage.

With the respect to your questions:

Water filler hose - storage compartment of the driver side
Camp ovens - in one of the space-cases on top
Toilet tent and toilet seat - tent in a roof top box (with all the other awning parts except the main, which remained attached to the tent at all-times)
Shovel - foldable in a box in the boot (with the rest of the recover gear)
Table & chairs - rooftop box
Spare parts - box in the boot of the car
Wheel chocks - didn't take them
Wheel jack & wheel brace - didn't take tem
Chain saw - in one of the space cases
Extra canvas/poles - roof top box

Cheers,

Thomas

We only have room for the mattress topper, sheets, blanket and quilt. One of the major storage advantages the hardfloors have is on top. We carry our solar panel , ladder and canoes on top of the CT in the racks.  I have already worked out we can fit and strap down 3 ARB style large space cases on top for when we want storage of extra food for our 2 week trip bush next year.

These look really good... but are they very expensive?

Hi,

the space cases I have on my kitchen box (see earlier pic) were 150 each at the big green shed (Bunnings). Very happy with them. Sturdy, lockable and have a dust seal.

Cheers,

Thomas

+1.  i got my two pelican cases from the big green shed for under $500.  1000mm x 550mm x 400mm.  they fit perfectly in the back of the bt50...
