About 15 years ago I knew a guy who swamped his petrol 4WD in the surf on Fraser. (Waves crashing through the windows and over the roof swamped) He got someone to tow it to camp, then took all the vinyl floor coverings out and let it dry out in the sun for a couple of days. With the help of lots of RP7 he got the motor working and drove/coughed it back to Brisbane. He was too scared to turn it off, so while unloading his gear he also washed the car with the motor running, then drove it to a car yard and traded it in.

20 years since I have been on the Beach, that's about the change soon.
I have a collection of photos somewhere from when I was there a lot.
But the worst I came across (thankfully I didn't see it) was a bronco doing forward cartwheels down the beach at Eli Creek Crossing, hit the opposite bank at serious speed and over it went, many times. Thing was, there was 2 blokes sitting on the bonnet, 3 standing across the back, plus the 4 sitting inside.
Our day was taken up with helping the young medic get her troopy across to the west side.

He drove in with a Bundera and drove out with Ford Fairlane.

Jeepers Creepers

That's a nice spot where the van is, I might have to take the boat in there... it looks deep enough.
I DON'T CARE HOW NICE THE HAND SOAP SMELLS.....

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.
