hard to tell by looking at it but if it's near a pole when packed away check the condition of the pole to make sure theres no white rust/corrosion rubbing on the canvas, had somthing similar a couple of months ago that looks the same as in your pic

Hi Bush Bandit
How old is your camper.
Have you done much camping on the beach the salt water can discolour like this. Also bore water can do the same.
When we where doing the campers for Jimboomba Campers they also had a tent of there own. I thought they may have conditioned it with bore water.
Hope this helps
If you would like some more advise just let me know

I checked my camper and it has the same. It's is a 2004 tough country. It's near the poles when closing it up so I guess it's from the poles when folded. Has never really worried me.

We have some similar marks ... Thought it was from salt stains until I licked it (don't ask!) but now think it is rub marks from the aluminium poles. Definitely has a metallic taste to it.

Yeh took an educated gues that it was NOT bird crap given that it was only on the inside of the tent and I'm nearly 100% sure no bird has made it past the door or could aim at the walls.

Note: I generally don't make a habit of licking things ... well almost ;-)
