Just came back from a quick trip from Melbourne to white cliffs n.s.w  via the Cobb hwy , all the years off traveling that road to see the old man , I've never seen so many goats, some places there was more goats than sheep , camped the night at pooncarie on the darling just out of town no shortage of them there either , thought i was going to get stepped on in my swag, no shortage of roos and emu's as well,  drive safely people!

I remember shooting feral goats on sheep farms for the station owners around the Wilcania (near White Cliff) area.  Came back 5or 6 years later to find that some farms had got rid of their sheep tp replace with goats???
