Engel anniversary vs standard 40 lt

Hi all, I've been looking into the engel 40 lt fridges. There is approx $100 diff between the anniversary edition and the standard fridge. In addition to the standard, The anniversary edition comes with a thermostat and battery monitor. Are the extras worth the extra 100?

A quick check on Fleabay would get the pricing on the extras, but for me I think I would shell out the extra.

When i was looking about 12months ago the gold one was about $1599 so it may be a good price.
