Roof protection

I have a camper trailer that is almost permenatly set up, constantly having problems with leaky corners, just had the roof replaced and wanting to make it last longer. I have seen other trailers with a fitted tarps that sits a few inches higher then the roof. wondering if anyone has any idea's or suggestions to what i can do about 1, the leaky seams and 2, the tarp idea.

Your talking about a tropical roof, or tropical blanket.

There are several water proofing products that can be applied to the CT - Either painting or sometimes for smaller areas, a spray can.

It may also be that the corners are a bit high, creating a pool of water, rather than the water running off the side of the CT - dropping the poles should fix this.

Many Swaggers use a normal tarp to provide extra cover and use additioanl pole to lift it up slightly from the CT's roof.

If its almost permanently set up I would think the idea of an additional tarp over the whole thing (and poles) would be the way to go.  This would also give some protection to the canvas on the camper.  A lot cheaper to replace a tarp them replace camper canvas.
