Yea, that sucks. Time is catching up on us all. For those of us that love and watch cricket as D4D says, he, with the others added the spice.

Sad day.

Yep, sad news.

To me, TG was one of the sounds of summer. Missed him during this summer's commentry.

He was as much a part of Australian cricket as anyone.

Was only saying the other day how lame slats, tubby and co are with the pitch report. Loved how Tony could get you inside 30 mins early to see him attempt to get the key in the pitch. A sad day indeed

well I think that Bill, Tony, Richie and Chappell are getting the sword this season anyway

So you'll have 1 eyed commentators from arsehole to breakfast.. I cant listen to Healy, 1000% easily the most biased commentator in any sport on earth. Taylor rambles like a school kid on acid, Mark Nichols aint bad, but has to stop being just the opposite to all the others. I think he should be the "boss" of the team
although after playing cricket since 8yrs old until several years into seniors, I struggle to watch cricket anymore... Dunno, its just not that interesting. I cant pinpoint why :(

Used to wonder why the old man lost interest in cricket. He would listen on the radio into the early hours (Tests in England with the signal fading as it did).

Now I'm much the same, take it or leave it. Don't know why either.

I think its the sport has gone out of it... dont beat the opposition but humiliate them... wow makes you awesome  ::)

When one team has 0 chance of scoring 200, why bat on to score 600?? Theya rent going to try, and it becomes blockfest ... 80 overs 0 for 2.
