I contacted the Dometic-warco dealer mentioned in this article yesterday. Their response was that due to cost and readily available solar solutions in australia they are not intending to import to Australia

Give it a while and the chinese will copy it and sell millions of them.

If you have a problem at home with no clear sunshine and you wanted solar to reduce those power bills, this it the same technology as the gas battery charger but on a little bigger scale, and the CSIRO says it works. No connection with this crowd, just remembered reading abut it earlier in the year.
