Got this from a bloke in my old club the other day... The wonders of onboard cameras.

Remember, it only hurts while the pain is there.... *sigh*, I miss racing...

I was helping the club run a dirt track race meeting on the weekend.

Casey, Greg's son has been racing as a junior for a few years & this was his first meeting as a senior, now he'd turned 16. He loves filming on-board footage of him & others racing & putting the results up on YouTube.

Well on Sunday he lost the front end and crashed, and Lee hit his bike & crashed too. Have a look at the footage, especially the slow motion footage.

He ended up with some tendon & ligament damage to his knee, but didn't break anything. It is quite astounding, given what happened to his leg.

Ouch!!! I dont think your knee is supposed to bend that way. Very lucky he didn't sustain major damage to his knee/leg.

Did something similar on a Rugby field once.

Holy crap. That knee will give him a bit of grief when he's older, but to not do more damage is amazing.
