Free camping in south-east Qld

Any tips on where we can stop for tonight? Looking for a free camp spot around the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane...

Unfortunately don't believe there will be anything.  Definitely no 'advertised' free sites between Brisbane and Sunshine coast along the Bruce Highway.  You will need to head inland somewhat.  Kilcoy has a free stop.  Which direction are you coming from or going to.

Could just stop in the state forest if you are self sufficient.
