influenza Type B Outbreak

Just wanted all swaggers to be aware.  There is an outbreak of Influenza Type B in Weipa at the moment. 

Very glad I didn't go and visit the Nomadics as arranged when they were here as my son is sick with it. 

Must be this rather cool weather we are getting and rain..... weird!

Hey becboo, what is a Type B influenza? There are lots of bronchial things happening here in Melbourne.

Doctor said it is a true flu virus, so you get the cough, high fever, aches and pains and lasts for at least a week to 2 weeks.

I just wanted to make everyone aware so that they can stock up on whatever they take to combat virus's.  Rum / Scotch maybe!!

It wouldn't be pleasant to be on holiday up here and get the flu!!

My brother died at 26 from influenza B. If in doubt PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE see your G.P!!!  It can cause massive problems with your heart. My brother was a very tall, fit, black belt in tae kuondo type of guy who got it an died within a few weeks of getting it. Not to be messed with guys!
