;D Hi there, I have been hovering around this forum for quite a while after some friends suggested I look for tips and hints on mods for my Eagle OB.

During our time in the Eagle, we often thought how nice it would be to own a van with a shower and toilet in it, so back in December we sold the Eagle and ordered a new 17.56-2 Expanda Outback. We are due to pick it up on Saturday Morning.

:4x4: We tow with a 2010 gu7 Nissan Patrol, with 2" lift and heavy duty springs.

We opted for a lot of extras in the van, such 240 watts of solar, 2 100 amp batteries, external shower, extended draw bar etc, ect, ect.....

Any how, here are some pics of the van before delivery.

That is soooo true, that was my wifes main arguement for the upgrade. 2:00 in the morning with the sound of that zip, is somewhat discouraging to say the least.  But it was also a safety thing for the little ones. We have three rug rats, who often like to go to the toilet at night.

Well, pick up was today.

Everything went quite smoothly wiuth the handover. A few problems were found. The extra external light that we had fitted on the road side of the van had no off switch, so it stayed on all the time. Not sure what Jayco was thinking on that one. The second, being that one of the gas cradles on the front was not on straight, both will be fixed on the first service.

Apart from that it towed beautifully and we started packing our gear into it this afternoon.

Will take some more pictures when the weather clears up.
