Ilovecamping

Hi everyone
We have been lurking in the background for months now and thought we'd introduce ourselves Paul and Deborah from Brisbane.

We love getting away in our soft floor camper at least once a month. We upgraded from a tent and thanks to all the information we have read on my swag we are so close to leaving a deposit on a Cub Supamatic Regal.

We are looking at upgrading to include the transcontinental pack, override brakes, pole holder, stone guard, pantry, walls for the awning. We will transfer the innerspring mattress from our soft floor.

Before we hand over our hard earned cash we'd love to hear from any other Cub owners if there is something we absolutely must get, for example is the draft skirt worth getting.....we'd rather buy it now rather than retro fit.

Anyway just wanted to say hi and thanks for the great info we have found here.....cheers Paul and Deborah

Welcome Paul and Deborah, hope you have heaps of fun and get to take, what sounds like a great setup, on heaps of trips.
Any plans for your first trip in the new camper?

Hi Paul and Deborah,

The Cub is certainly a popular camper - no doubt you will have many awesome adventures in one.

We have a draft skirt in our camper - but have only used it once and that was just to see how it looked.

Cheers,

JKohn.

G'day & Welcome.

Congrats on the new camper. I'd recommend seeing if you can get electric brakes, they work far more effectively than over-rides, easier to live with and wouldn't be much more expensive. Plenty of info on the forum on electric brakes and brake controllers.
