While sitting around the campfire last week I got to thinking that given we have a 12 week old we have done pretty well in the getting out there stakes this year.  All up, 23 nights so far and we have another trip planned for the not to distant future.  It seems that going back to study so I could be a teacher and have lots of family time is paying off ;D

So how's your year been to date?

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Extended the top end of the poll as it seems there are plenty who have been away four weeks and I want to see how much more than 4 weeks ;D

only had the CT for 6 weeks so its only been out for 4 nights so far and all up this year we have only had 6 nights away - been a bad year

however since we spent a heap on this CT our plan is to be away every 2nd weekend in it so we should have another 12 nights befor the year is out.

next year will be a big one camping as not only we want every 2nd weekend but we are planning a 4 week trip to south west WA to visit family

Picked up the Bolwell Edge in July and took off from sunny  ??? Melbourne and headed up to Ellis Beach just North of Cairns and eventually travelled back down the coast arriving back in sunny  ??? Melbourne on the 6th October.

Wish I was back up North that's for sure.

Heading out for a week later this month then another short trip up to the Saffire Coast in November then home for a while.

Next trip early 2012 will be to WA for a few months then later in the year back up to Cairns.

The Bolwell has been fantastic to live in and so far have spent over 60 nights in it.

Cheers

No where near as many nights away as I had planned but as long as I have a pulse there is hope.  Therefore 2011 hasn't been bad and 2012 can only get better!

Haven't quite made 50 nights, something to aim for next year!

Not as much as we normally have but 20+ nights I guess.2012 we will be putting the camping trips on the calendar and planning everything around that. I'm hoping to get the swan away at least once a month minimum. I know the start of 2012 will be on the money, 14 nights already locked in!

we have just finished our 6 week trip up the west coast and back to perth
we where going to do the full lap of oz but things changed while on the road so we will be here for a few months and then head over east to do the myswag cape york trip in june

Captain

We have done 43 nights in our Quantum since February and have at least another 7 nights planned  ;D Not bad since most of these trips are long weekenders with only 2 trips greater than 3 nights. And given that I travel for work a fair bit (like off to Namibia for 3 weeks on Sunday  >:( ) it means we spent a lot of our weekends "home" away  8)

Cheers

I ticked the 28-40 option but we were only just over the 28 nights.

Hopefully next year we get the same or greater use out of it.

We got ours 31.07.10 and have done 35 nights so far & never more than 2 hours from home.  I really wish that was more like 135 nights and 135 hours from home!  *Sigh*  The baine of A Suburbian I have to Work Life.  It really sucks.
