Hi,
while camped at Alice Springs years ago, it was so cold in the morning, the petrol I used to start a quick fire burnt more like kerosene than petrol.
cheers

It was about 10am that morning before the tap and water lines defrosted enough to let water through again.  -5 degrees was minimum temp overnight.

Sunday had a top of 8, but the apparent temp only got to 1.1C

The wind chill factor in Ballarat is amazing.

Where are you off to?
We came thru Poatina Saturday. There was heaps of snow so we all had a good play until the fingers had a nice blue tinge

I've certainly been cold before, and we've had many colder mornings at our place in Kellyville, where the temperature ranges from -5-45 degrees. It has been quite mild since weekend.
