After some advise of how to dust proof my metal canopy.
I was thinking of glueing expansion joint filler to the checkered plates.
Any advise on if this will work and also what glue to use.

Put a scupper vent in the roof of the canopy. Job done. Positive pressure is the best way we have found unless the canopy is built to be properly dust proof.

I should have provided more details.
I have change the sliding side windows to lifting/gullwing windows.
Also change the windows from glass to checkerplate.

So, I want to glue some dust barrier to the edges of the checkplate.
I currently have two options for the material
1) rubber
2) Abelflex expansion joint filler

Not sure about glue to use.

My question is what to use to dust seal and what glue to use.

Automotive foam rubber seals. You can get the extrusions from ebay, clark rubber and plenty of other places.
Abelflex wouldn't last 2 weeks and will stay compressed after a bit of use.
