Insurance and roadside assistance on the trip.

 Could all members make sure that they are properly insured and the roadside assistance they have will cover them in a worst case scenario.

Hopefully no one will need it but peace of mind is the best way. Ask them questions and check their policy.

Careful with manufacturer roadside assistance as it usually just covers the vehicle and not the trailer

RACV Total Care no longer includes unlimited towing. It now covers towing up to 100km, with an additional $2400 of assistance which I believe can be used toward the cost of towing. Don't know about other organisations. Best to not have any issues....

I  think NRMA is unlimited however somewhere in the fine print i am sure i recalled that a standard towtruck must be able to gain access to the vehicle
