Now sorry to the person that 1st bought this movie to our attention. I did a quick search but came up with squat.
So i thought I'd just carry on here.

ROUGH STUFF.  Aussie movie about some 4wds,  some greenies  an mine,  an good old aussies...... From the original post a few said yehhh gotta see that.

So as i had heard about it previously (on here)  when I actually saw the hard case on the video shop wall (yes they do still exists) it was a no brainer. Well for me not the wife but she git over it.....

Nowwwww, was it worth it. Absolutely, no high expectations just laugh an a scotch.  A very typical aussie show, not huge amount of 4wd in there big "trucks" (movie saying) but entertaining.

It was I, here, http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=51230.0 I didn't use the title by the looks of things so it wouldn't have come up in the search.

I downloaded it recently as it only had limited screenings, as long as you realise it's a low budget film and aren't expecting a Hollywood blockbuster you should really enjoy it, it's not designed to be taken too seriously, just light hearted entertainment.

Probably depends on your definition, but I'd say more ocker than bogan.

I think the part of a review that summed it up best for me was

QuoteShortcomings aside, Rough Stuff proves an always engaging, rousing tale that celebrates the spirit of our bush folk without a hint of irony. It is not a film for the 'cultural cringe' crowd, that elitist niche who resent any depiction of our population as descendants of rough'n'tumble rural folk. But nor is it meant for them. In one of the most impressive calling card pics in recent memory, Jonathan Adams has rediscovered and contemporised the charms of a terrific bush yarn.
