Lake McKenzie Closure :-(

Well how do you like that!?  They are closing Lake McKenzie from April 20th through to the September school holidays for redevelopment!!  

Did someone not tell the government departments that we were coming and that we'd like everything available during our stay.  Some notice would have been nice.

That's a real shame. I know your already p'ed off but it was one on the best days we had there swimming. There are tons of other great places though so you'll still have a ball but what a bummer

I agree NK, we preferred Birrabeen also.  One less backpacker infested place we have to visit I suppose.

AND don't forget the doggies are doin' it while your there, so keep an eye on the kids and Please, Please, Please, Please, DON'T FEED THEM!!!  Enough have been shot already due to human stupidity.  They are the last of the true dingo's and very precious, so read the signs, and be doggie wise.
