Hi all,

It's been one year since we purchased our first camper trailer. We purchased our 2002 Trackabout Safari for the grand sum of $2900. I've since spent about another Grand on it setting up the 12volt system, new cover and a few other bits and pieces.

To say we love our ct is an understatement. So much so that we spent our honey moon in it.

The only prob we've had is one blow out and funny enough that was on the highway!!

Here are the places we've been so far

Moreton island
Canarvon gorge
Laras wetlands
Porcupine gorge
Malanda
Cooktown
Bloomfield track
The Daintree
Noah beach
Port Douglas
Mission beach
Cardwel
Straddie x 2
Kinkuna x 4
Woodgate x 2
Girraween national park
Gordon Country.

We've been bogged plenty of times, almost run out of fuel, Been in torrential rain but every time we look more forward to our next adventure. Pretty sure we have got our money's worth and ant see us upgrading anytime soon.

Here are some pics of our travels. Happy camping everyone.

You get out and in to the world -- you take more @#&$. ...You climb a little higher, ..you take less @#&$.  ...Till one day -- you're up in the rarefied atmosphere -- and you've forgotten what @#&$ even looks like....  Welcome to the layer cake son.

Great pics thanks for sharing. Nothing like spending some time in the bush with a couple of loyal companions, our dogs get very excited when we start packing the camper !
