A really heavy burden to have in one lifetime.
Apparently she was diagnosed with breast cancer just 3 months after they married, beat the disease, but came back.
At least they had 12 years in between, and a miraculous daughter who is now 5.
He is very much in my thoughts.

Bugger......I was at Thredbo the day he was pulled from the rubble. Didn't realize he had remarried and had a daughter.

Cancer is one of those things these days that affects everyone... everyone has a family member or rello who has it or who has died from it...
